I love the fact that these little dolls are now living in different countries. One in Canada the other in America. It gives me so much pleasure to look at a map and see how far they travel. I've started to draw a little picture with illustrations of the dolls I've made, with a vintage map as a backdrop. I've stitched on swatches of the fabric I used for their dresses and placed them on the country they now live in. For the first time I'm actually taking an interest in geography and am beginning to know where each country is on the map without having to search for it for ages thanks to my little dolls journeys.
